MAINTAIN OPTIMUM PLAYING ON THE GREENS WITH MEGAFLO GREEN

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In 2006, the Sandhurst Golf Course and housing development in Melbourne, Victoria established a course utilising existing soils on-site. These soils were unfortunately some of the worst possible for the maintenance of a healthy grass course.

OUR SOLUTION

Our clients required a fully-functional 18 hole professional golf course to be ready for the 2006 Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) Championships.

Sandhurst Golf Course worked with a specialist golf course construction & project management company to create a design that would eliminate any potential problems with the soil.

Their design incorporated Megaflo Green Panel Drainage System as approved by the United States Golf Association (USGA) for greens and tees. Megaflo Green was used in the USGA Gravel Green application and in the fairways.
